The Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) has published its report, The Spanish University in Numbers. 2015 and the 2015/2016 Academic Year, wherein the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) occupies the seventh position in Annual Scientific Production of Universities per Faculty Member (2006-2015). If we consider only Valencian Community public and private universities, the UMH is ranked first. This report reflects how the scientific production by each UMH faculty member exceeds, and in some cases doubles, that of investigators at other larger institutions.
In the fifth edition of the U-Ranking of Spanish Universities produced by the BBVA Foundation and the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE), the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) occupies the fifth position in the ranking of best Spanish universities along with six others. In the ranking's classification for Innovation and Technological Development, the UMH is sixth, and in terms of employability, the UMH places eleventh. What's more, most of the bachelor's programs offered at the UMH are ranked among the top five positions in terms of this ranking's criteria of Teaching, Research, and Innovation & Technological Development.
The Vice Rectorate for Research and Innovation and the Service of Research Management - TTO at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (UMH) have produced the 2016 Research Report. Last year, resources acquired by the UMH grew to 11,901,738.42 euros, which was a slight increase with respect to the funding raised in 2015.
