Course context

Profesional career interests
Since financial information is an important area in any media whether written, visual, and digital radio, the journalist must acquire basic skills and instruments that will enable him basic terms as a basis to develop, communicate, interpret economic data, primarily relating to financial markets and financial information companies. Specifically:



- Analyze and interpret reports and financial data.

- Communicate information and adapt economic experts in the language of print and broadcast media and diverse audiences.

- Become aware of the responsibility as a business journalist in the interpretation and handling of sensitive information such as economic.

- Develop critical to understand the interests of business journalism sources and comply with the ethical principles of journalism.



Given the importance of economic journalism, this course will enable the practitioner to know and understand the fundamentals of the economy, learn to interpret information and data used by journalists specializing in economics and financial markets interpret the financial information of companies, and develop the skills necessary to be able to translate this properly for various media and public.

7Learn, interpret and transmit the magnitudes that influence and determine the status of national capital markets and international, as well as their interrelationships.
