http://estanciasfisioterapia.umh.es/The evaluation of Clinical Stays will be carried out taking into account the following parts: 1) Assistance to the centers during the established period, together with the positive assessment of the tutor and; 2) Preparation of the practice report.
Each block of Stays (A, B, C, D) will have its own practice memory model, which can be consulted at the following link http://estanciasfisioterapia.umh.es/
The assessment percentages are established as follows: 50% attendance and assessment of the tutor - 50% assessment of the memory of stays.
In all modules it is necessary to have each of the parties approved in order to pass the subject (assistance and assessment of the tutor along with the memory of stays).
In the case of the last subject that remains to be overcome, in addition to the previous evaluation criteria, the student must pass a practical examination, consisting of the resolution of a clinical case with a patient. This will be done in a hospital or clinical center, in the presence of at least one of the EECC teachers. The qualification of this last evaluation test, associated to the last subject of stays taken, will be of APTO / NOT APTO. (For more information, it is recommended to review the characteristics section of the evaluation test).
IMPORTANT - 1) Throughout the year, and prior to the start of each rotation, a SEMINAR will be held to confirm and explain the relevant aspects of operation in the center. Student attendance is considered MANDATORY. The non-attendance of the student to said seminar will be cause for SUSPENSION of the subject, except in cases that are duly justified; 2) Throughout the year, the group of professors responsible for the subject of STAYS reserves the right to schedule complementary activities, not included in the checklist, which may overlap with the assistance to the practice centers. If necessary, the priority and compulsory attendance of one or another teaching activity will be informed, considering the same conditions as if it were a day of clinical practice. Failure to attend this complementary activity, which replaces the day of clinical practices, will be cause for SUSPENSION of the subject, except in cases that are duly justified.
First, the student will be provided with the medical diagnosis and relevant clinical data of a patient and for approximately 10 minutes the student will reflect, and if necessary consider, the actions to be taken to treat that patient: history, examination, diagnosis of physiotherapy, treatment goals and physiotherapy treatment to be performed.
In the second place, the patient will be presented to the student and he will perform anamnesis, exploration, pose and perform a treatment session appropriate to the time of evolution of the case. This second part will have a maximum duration of 30-35 minutes.
If the grade is APT, in the last EECC taken by the student (usually it will be EECC VII), the grade obtained in the rotation-subject associated with that practical exam will appear (calculated through the assistance and assessment of the tutor, together with the grade of the memory).
In case the qualification is not suitable, in the last EECC completed, the SUSPENSE qualification will appear and the student must return to the examination with a patient in the next call. The grade obtained in the subject-rotation associated with the examination with a patient who has been suspended will be saved and will be effective when the student has passed the examination with a patient.
IMPORTANT - When the EECC VII course is not the last one the student is taking, it must be OBLIGATORY communicated to the person responsible for the organization of the exam (Professor Emilio Poveda). If this is not done, in the qualification of the subject of EECC VII it could appear as Not presented. In the same way, when the student attends his last Clinical Stay (and this is not EECCVII), he must contact the person responsible for the exam again in order to organize the clinical case evaluation test with a patient and be able to assign the center and patient student for your test.
