To pass the subject you must obtain a minimum of 5 out of 10 in the total sum of the marks. The internships are voluntary and will add up to 1 point of the final grade of the subject. The voluntary practices are divided into 4 parts, with the following breakdown: - 3 practices, with a duration of two hours each, to be carried out in the theory class. In each of them, a problem must be solved individually. Each session will have an approximate number of 30 students. The problem will be the same for all the students of that session, just changing some data between each one of them.Approximately 1 hour will be left to solve it and the result will be delivered to the teacher. If this is correct, the student will get 0.20 points for the final grade. Only the result will be taken into account, not the procedure. And in the remaining hour the problem will be solved on the board, so that each student checks their resolution. - 2 practices, in a session of two hours, of introduction to the program of calculation of metallic structures, Metal 3D of Cype. This session will be held in a computer classroom in groups of approximately 30 students. Both the practice and the score obtained will be individual. Each student will solve the problem that is delivered and at the end of the session the practice will be collected with the result obtained. Therefore, 0.60 points can be obtained in the total of the practices in class and 0.40 points in the computer practice, making a total of 1 point to be added to the exam mark to obtain the grade of 5 out of 10.The exam will have 10 points. Therefore, a student who does not do the internship must obtain a 5 in the exam to pass the subject. On the opposite end, if a student performs all the practices satisfactorily, and therefore obtains 1 point, the exam must obtain a minimum of 4.00 to pass the subject. It is not mandatory to do all the practices to obtain a grade for them, the points obtained in each of the passed practices will simply be added, and will be added to the exam mark for the final grade. Also add that the practice notes will not be saved from one school year to another.
The exam will be written and may contain theory questions and / or problems. The exam may be divided into parts and a minimum grade may be required in each part.
