The subject aims to train the podiatrist so that, as a health professional, he develops, individually or within the health teams, all its potential in the prevention of diseases and the improvement of Podological Public Health. The student acquires criteria and develops skills that allow him to better understand the health system in which he works, analyze available information, collaborate in Public Health research tasks, know the risk groups most frequently associated with preventable diseases, and plan and design programs of health.
