The qualification will be between 0 and 10. It will be essential to obtain at least 5 points to pass the subject. Practical The practical sessions are obligatory to approve the subject. The teacher will provide (through the University web) a bulletin with questions and problems related to the aspects treated in these sessions so that, within a period to be determined by the teacher, they should be returned duly completed. The correct resolution of these questions can provide the student with 1 point (on a scale of 0 to 10). The non-attendance duly justified to only one of the practices eliminates the possibility of obtaining this point. Continuous Evaluation Throughout the course, the professor will carry out periodic controls that will suppose a maximum of 20% (2 points) of the final grade. Resolution of questions in class or the elaboration of works on specific topics related to Genetics and that will be proposed at the beginning of the course. Theory and practical exams There will be a test that will account for a maximum of 80% of the final grade and will consist of two sections: 20 questions of alternative answers (20 points, one hour and 30 minutes approximately). 0.33 points will be deducted for each wrong answer. Unanswered questions will not score negatively. It is required to obtain a minimum of 8 points (in the scale from 0 to 20) in this section to correct the problems section. 2 practical cases or problems (20 points, one hour and 30 minutes). Only the final answers to each of the sections of the problem will be qualified. To pass it is absolutely necessary and essential to obtain at least 20 points out of the total of 40 of the exam.
