The final mark of the subject will be the exam mark (60%) + the mark of practical work (10%) + the mark of a group work (20%) + the mark of the class interventions solving questions to be asked during the course (10%). The exam will consist of a theoretical part of between 30 and 40 multiple choice questions and another of problems and / or practical questions related to the subject's contents. It will be necessary to pass the subject to obtain at least 35% in each of the parts (theory and practice) and 40% in the overall exam. Practical work will be assessed individually based on the documentation provided by each student or by questionnaires that they complete themselves. The group work will be evaluated individually assessing the final result, the work process followed, its exposure and individual contributions. Alternatively to practical work, group work and class questions, you may opt for practical extra questions in the final exam. The student should choose how he is evaluated at the time of the exam,.
Theory: Each wrong answer will subtract 1/3 of the correct answer. Unanswered questions will not be subtracted.
Practical question: Any conceptual error will suppose at least the loss of 50% of the valuation of the question. The errors of calculation when the result is reasonable and the procedure is correct, complete and well explained will subtract at least 25%. Errors of fundamental concepts will suppose the loss of 100% of the valuation of the question.
Practices: The quality and complexity of the work delivered will be valued.
Project: The quality and complexity of the work delivered will be valued, as well as the individual contribution of each one.
Class questions: The answers will be assessed as correct and complete (100%), correct (50%), insufficient (0%).
The continuous assessment note will be valid for the calls of February, September and December of the year in which the works are carried out and of the immediately subsequent one in case of not passing the subject in the first year. In case of not passing the subject in the year following the one in which the work was done, the continuous assessment mark will be lost.
