The final score will be computed with the scores of tasks, theory and laboratory practices.
Tasks, practices and exams will be held in the dates foreseen according to the academic calendar.
Tasks: 8 problems.
Theory: test-type exam will be comprised of 40 5-option questions (60 min).
Laboratory Practice: Attendance to 8 laboratory sessions, submission of 2 practice reports and test-type exam of 15 5-option questions (30 min).
Final Score= Tasks (0-20%*) + Theory (75-55%**) + Practice (25%***).

Students have the option to solve up to 8 problems. Randomly chosen students will defend their solution in public, so that attendance to classroom practices is compulsory to get a score in each task.
The test-type exam will be comprised of 40 5-option questions. The score will be reduced by 1/4 of a point for each wrong answer.
Theory will be passed with a minimum score of 4.
Attendance to 8 sessions will be weighted by 5/25, practice reports by 5/25 and test exam by 15/25. The test-type exam will be comprised of 15 5-option questions. The score will be reduced by 1/4 of a point for each wrong answer.
Practice will be passed with a minimum score of 6.
The theory or laboratory practice score will be maintained for the September and December calls. If the laboratory practices have been passed previously (attendance and reports), the corresponding score will be maintained in the current academic year. In any case, all students enrolled in the subject have to take the practice exam.
The course will be passed with a minimum score of 5 out of 10.
Students must show their passport or similar identity card.
It is recommended to attend the exam with a pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, pen and non-programmable scientific calculator.
