The evaluation of clinical stays will be made taking into account the following parts: - Attendance to the centers during the established period, positive evaluation of the tutor and Preparation of the memory of practices Each block of Stays (A, B, C, D) will have its own model of memory of practices, which can be consulted in the link below http://estanciasfisioterapia.umh.es/ The valuation percentages are established as follows: 50% valuation of the tutor, 50% valuation of In all the modules, it is necessary to have approved each of the parts (attendance, evaluation of the Tutor and memory of stays) to be able to surpass the asignatura. After having completed the seven subjects of Clinical Stages, to obtain the qualification of the last one performed by the student, must pass a practical examination consisting of the resolution of a clinical case with a patient. center or clinical center, in the presence of at least one of the EECC teachers. In the first place, the student will be given the medical diagnosis and relevant clinical data of a patient and for approximately 10 minutes the student will reflect and, if necessary, write down the actions to be performed to treat that patient: anamnesis, exploration, diagnosis of physiotherapy, treatment goals and physiotherapy treatment to be performed. Secondly, the patient will be presented to the student and the student will perform anamnesis, exploration, pose and conduct a session of appropriate treatment at the time of evolution of the case. This second part will have a maximum duration of 30 - 35 minutes. The grade of this exam will be: Apt or Not suitable. If the qualification is "Apt", in the last EECC issued by the student (usually EECC VII), the note obtained during the previous rotation will appear. In case the qualification is "Not suitable" in the last EECC, the rating of "Suspended" will appear. The student must appear in the next call until he can pass the test of the clinical case. The note obtained previously in the rotation will be saved and will become effective, and will appear in the record, when the examination with patient is surpassed. When the subject EECCVII is not the last one that the student is going to take, he / she MUST report it MANDATORY to the person in charge of the organization of the exam (professor Emilio Poveda) if this is not done, in the classification of EECC VII subject could appear as "Not presented" . Likewise, when the student finishes his / her last Clinical Stay (and this is not EECCVII), he / she must communicate again with the person in charge of the examination in order to carry out the clinical case test with the patient.
Consequence of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, and given the need to adapt the Spanish university system to non-attendance, the development of teaching activity corresponding to the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year will be subject to the following changes in the teaching guide that are specified as an addendum to the previously approved for the subject.
Theory classes: The seminars for this subject were held before confinement began.
Practical classes: Since a percentage higher than 92% of clinical practices had been carried out, the rotation will be completed and the contents will be reinforced with tutorials and complementary work until the total number of hours is completed.
The practice report will be presented without the final evaluation of the patient and without the approval of the tutor.
Tutorials: They are carried out, at the request of the students, through the Google Meet tool, at a time agreed by the teacher-student. Others are done through email, answering the questions raised.
System and evaluation criteria of the subject: The final grade will consist of two parts:
50% assessment of the tutor.
50% assessment of the practice report.
This brief addendum fulfills a double function:
First.- Specify in each subject the general criteria approved for the entire University regarding the adaptation of teaching to the non-classroom format for this second semester: changes introduced in the teaching methodology and the evaluation system applicable in this exceptional period (from agreement with the Reflections of the Ministry of Universities, of April 4, 2020, on general criteria for the adaptation of the Spanish university system to the Covid-19 pandemic, during the 2019-2020 academic year, as well as the REACU Agreement of 3 of April 2020, in view of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19)
Second.- It makes public and official the change in the evaluation procedure and the criteria that condition it, guaranteeing the procedure for monitoring the qualifications by the internal quality guarantee systems and by the Evaluation Agencies.
