Consequence of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, and in view of the need to adapt the Spanish university system to non-attendance, the development of teaching activity corresponding to the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year will be subject to the following changes in the teaching guide that are specified as an addendum to the previously approved for the subject.
Theory classes: Teaching is taught live in the bands established for the subject in the official hours of the degree, with the participation of the student. It is preferably done using the Google Meet tool from the virtual campus (Universite).
Practical classes: The practices are taught live in the bands established for the subject in the official hours of the degree, with the participation of the student. It is preferably done using the Google Meet tool from the virtual campus (Universite). Those of the workshop and footwear have been replaced by the exhibition of video tutorials, taught during practice, with subsequent preparation of tasks that students can do at home and subsequently upload in the Assignment tasks section on the WEB of the College. The date of realization of the same will be during the usual hours of practice.
Tutorials: They will be held, at the request of the students, through the Google Meet tool, at a time agreed by the teacher-student. Also, the corresponding doubts will be resolved through email.
System and evaluation criteria of the subject:
The final grade will be established by the sum of the different parts:
A- Online non-face-to-face final exam (30%).
B- Attendance or follow-up of practical sessions and delivery of the tasks within the established period. (fifteen%)
C- Preparation of tasks, resolution of clinical cases and research work related to Children's Podiatry. (55%).
Those students, who cannot obtain their grade by continuous assessment, by adding tasks, clinical cases, research work, attendance to practices and delivery of practical tasks, will obtain their final grade through an online oral exam of the entire syllabus of the subject.
