The Legal Science Department examines the various legal disciplines taught at our university. The corresponding fields of knowledge are mainly scrutinized in the Bachelor’s in Law program, although the department also participates to some extent teaching Political Science and Public Administration, Journalism, and Labor Relations and Human Resources. Its faculty also collaborates in the organization and instruction of distinct UMH and interuniversity master’s programs and graduate studies.
Department research focuses on developing innovative and competitive projects in relation to questions concerning the legal field, participating in national and international research groups. Comparative law studies are an important part of the faculty’s scientific background.
