The aim of the course is the acquisition of the physical, methematical and chemical knowlegde to understand highly advanced biophysical techniques to characterize, from a biotechnological view, any molecule or its properties (for instance, binding or activity) . Most of the biotechnological companies use one or several of the described techniques in the course.
