Evaluation protocol and criteria of the curriculum
Theoretical lectures: Multiple choice questions and written developed questions
Practice evaluation: Practice file + clinical case
Continuous evaluation along the course: lectures, seminars, workshops and lab practice.
Theoretical matters: They represent the 60% of the final score (6 points)
The exam of the theoretical matters will be divided into two parts:
Multiple choice question part: It consists in 60 questions, two for every lecture and/or seminar. Each question has four possible answers, and only one will be correct. (This part represents the 80% of the theoretical score).
Two questions about one specific aspect of the theoretical matter giving the opportunity to show the global knowledge of the student and its capacity to link knowledge from different sources. This part will be completed with written developed answer (This part represents the 20% of the theoretical score).
In this theoretical part, will be necessary to score over 4, to be able to average your qualification with the Practice Score one.
Practice evaluation: It represents the 20% of the total score.
Attending and participation: A filled practice file is compulsory, and its completion could add until one point (It depends of the clinical activity during the practice period, altogether with the tutor evaluation).
Completed practice files with the tutors signature, must be deliver the day after the end of the practice period in a .pdf file to Professor Ernesto Cortés e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
In the same session of the previously mentioned exam (???), a third part will be included: It consist in the resolution of a clinical case (paediatric surgery or general paediatrics) by answering five questions, with four possible answers each, and with only one valid. The maximum score that could be obtained was 1 point, to be added to the total score of practice evaluation.
An eliminatory score over one, should be obtained to average the practice score with the theoretical score.
Continuous evaluation: It represents the 20% of the total score. It is obtained along the quarter as a supplementary score after attendance evaluation and lectures participation as well as other aspects that tutors and lecturers will consider convenient and justifiable by public register. In example: answering a question about the given lecture of the day.
The exam will consist in five questions to be answered by written development. They will be evaluated in the same way that in the Standard Evaluation of June. It will not be necessary to do the practice exam if was passed with approval before.
EXAM FORMAL REQUERIMENTS
At the admission to the exam the attendant must sign and present its ID card.
Mobile phones are not allowed.
Pen, pencil and rubber are the only allowed material.
Bags and file must be left at the e entrance.
