The evaluation of the subject of Psychiatry will take place through three complementary tests: (a) examination of theoretical content (60% of the final degree of the course); (b) Psychiatric semiology seminar (20%); and (c) work of literature review (20%).
a) Examination of theory content:
a.1) Call for June: a test exam of 60 questions of the contents of the subject, which must be answered in a maximum time of 90 minutes. Each question will have 4 response options, only one of them is valid. Each error will be penalized with 0.33 points, No score the questions not answered and you will get 1 point per correct answer.
a.2) September and December announcements: in these announcements, the test of theoretical content will be oral, consisting of the public exposure of 5 questions or issues of development. Each question will be graded between 0 and 2 points. These questions will be selected at random and in the presence of the student, by the Court that is set up for this purpose.
b) Psychiatric semiology seminar: will be assessed using control assistance (minimum 70%) and a test type test of 20 questions, which must be answered in a maximum time of 30 minutes. Each question will have 4 response options, only one of them being valid. Each error will be penalized with 0.33 points, they will not score the questions not answered and you will get 1 point per correct answer. This test will take place along with the theory test.
c) Review of the literature work: It will consist of a review work, on some of the topics that the teachers offer at the beginning of the subject. The work will be done in groups of 4-5 students and will be presented in the classroom. All students of the same group must participate in their exposure, obtaining the same note in this test.
To pass the course, students must meet the following criteria: a) fulfilling the criteria for attendance at the Psychiatric semiology Seminar (assistance not less than 70% of the hours); b) overcome with 5.0 or more points each of the three evaluation tests of the subject.
The evidence passed in the June call will keep the note obtained for the announcements of the same academic year.
Provided that the final mark is equal to or greater than 5.0 points, may be increased by a maximum of 0.50 points through participation in various activities, which will be proposed at the beginning of the subject: application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to the learning of the Psychiatry and participation in the research developed by the teaching staff on the subject.
