SUBJECT OF IMMUNOLOGY AND ALLERGY - During the development of the theory classes it will be a sheet of signatures for attendance. Students who attend all classes may get 0,5 point. The absence of maximum of 3 classes will be allowed. Randomly will be 10 people who have signed up on the sheet, and if a named person is not in the classroom, will be penalized. The penalty means the loss of this chance to get extra points for assistance. - Practices are mandatory for all students, and students who cannot attend to a specific practice or group which is not assigned, may change group for swap with another companion and exceptionally without swap, but informed and accepted by any of the professors of the subject. Who does not perform the practices can't pass the subject. - The days of practices by group are listed in the course schedule, but each week and group will be divided in the following way: From 10:30 am. to 14:00 am. each day will be a subset (see distribution practices) to the General University Hospital of Alicante, 8th floor of the outpatients building, and ALL THE GROUP WILL HAVE: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am. to 10.00 am. practices in the laboratory of Immunology, 2nd floor building Marie Curie of the Campus of San Juan (Alicante). Thursday from 8:00 am. to 10:00 am. allergy seminars in assigned classrooms (usually classroom, Department of Clinical Medicine, in the building of departments). - The final exam will be: 1. A joint test of Immunology and Allergy that will be composed of a minimum of 50 questions and a maximum of 75, and that equals 1/3 of the mark of the final examination 2. complete test (true/false, matching objects, question development and questions about a clinical case), that shall be equivalent to 2/3 of the mark of the final exam, but 1/3 corresponds to the part of Immunology and 1/3 to the allergy, which compensate not with the test if a minimum of 4 out of 10 in each of the parties is not removed. For the final mark of the subject, it will be also added notes of a work.. Students with outstanding in the final grade of the course can get honors, necessarily with assistance and the realization of a work. The work will consist of the extension at depth of the content of a scientific article within the syllabus of the subject, at the choice of the student. The maximum delivery of such work date will be up to 5 days before the date of validation marks. This work may have a maximum of 10 sheets, with letter 11 and can send in format pdf or doc to the professor Esther Caparrós (firstname.lastname@example.org) or professor Javier Fernández (email@example.com) There is the possibility of continuous evaluation during the course which will count for the final mark.
