The subject will be assessed through practices and course work (20%) and the final exam (80%).Two course works will be carried out: a lighting installation project and a low voltage electrical installation project. Throughout the practical sessions, students will use specific programs to carry out these works. The works will be individual. If reqquired, students will present the projects in public session and answer questions about the content. The weight of each work will be 10% of the final grade. Students who do not submit these papers must answer additional questions in the final exam.
The exam will consist of theory questions and exercises.
It is necessary to pass the exam to add the practice score.
The subject matter of the exam will be the one specified in the syllabus of the subject and taught throughout the academic year.
The theory exam will consist of test questions and theory questions, with a weight of 30% on the grade of the subject. The problem exam will consist of the resolution of two or three exercises, depending on their difficulty and extent. The weight of this part of the exam will be 50% of the grade of the subject.
The exam will last approximately 2 hours.
The test questions will be multiple choice with only one correct option. Incorrect answers will subtract half the score from a correct answer.
The questions will be answered in a reasonable manner and the proper structuring and rigor in their development will be assessed.
In the correction of the problems, the process followed in the resolution of the same will be taken into account, the justification of adopted solutions, the obtaining of precise results and the correct use of the units. The realization of schemes, diagrams or drawings will be valued when appropriate.
It is recommended to bring a pen, calculator and ruler.
Any other material type (notes, books, mobiles, tablets, bags or backpacks) will be left on the stage when entering the classroom.
Identification of students may be required during the exam.
