Design
The curriculum is comprised of 240 ECTS credits distributed among four 60-credit years, and each year is divided into two 30-credit semesters. Its range of contents provides overall training that permits its graduates to work professionally multidisciplinarily with the capacity to adapt. These contents are found in different types of courses, integrated in subject matter, which in turn, are completed in modules.
The first year is dedicated entirely to presenting core subject matter concerning law (24 credits), economics (6 credits), business (12 credits), psychology (12 credits), and sociology (6 credits). Required subject matter (150 credits) is distributed between the second year and first semester of the fourth.
The preceding core and required subject matter are grouped into three modules that reflect the various determinants and factors that are economics-business, legal-regulatory, and psycho-sociological in nature, linked to the various manifestations of problems related to the workplace, employment, and the human factor.
In addition to these modules, there is a fourth, Transversal and Professional Competencies (24 credits), which is taken during the second semester of the fourth year. In this, students are allowed to design the final portion of their curriculum and enhance skills by choosing between the elective courses offered in the curriculum and by completing various activities listed in the UMH Regulations for Recognition of Transversal and Professional Competencies.
The Final Degree Project is also completed this same semester, but this, in accordance with UMH regulations, may be started earlier.
The program's electives are indicated in the Courses section, and are part of the Transversal and Professional Competencies Module. This module can be completed either by taking these electives or by recognition for a series of activities such as internal and external internships, language skills, taking UMH Continuing Education courses, professional work experience, attending University workshops and conferences, etc. For complete information regarding this recognition, click on the following link: http://estudios.umh.es/reconocimiento-creditos/grados/.
