Description

If you have a multidisciplinary vocation and one not strictly legal, are interested in the operations of administrations, state institutions, political systems, international networks, and private associations, then Political Science and Public Administration is for you. Our program offers a heterogeneous and comprehensive education, adapted to the context of continuous change.

Career opportunities

The undergraduate Political Science and Public Administration program provides multidisciplinary and complete training, enabling you to pursue a career in both the public and private sectors.

On the public side, you may work in the civil service in any territory, diplomatic corps, international organizations, European Union institutions, among others. Research and teaching options are also available.

Privately, you may work in consulting, trade, communication offices, quality management systems for government, management of foundations, associations, NGOs, electoral studies, etc.

More than six thousand companies maintain collaboration agreements with our University, and they can open the door for you to the labor market.

Design

Among other subject matter, this program teaches administration and organizational design, public accounting, contemporary political and social history, management science, political and electoral behavior, administrative law, constitutional law, economic policy, general sociology, equality, quantitative methods of political and social research, electoral systems and political parties, and law and institutions of the European Union.

Its elective courses provide a thorough understanding of international networks, the operations of European institutions, and comparative political systems.

The program's electives are indicated in the Courses section, and are part of the Transversal and Professional Competencies Module.
