The TFM can be done over a topic proposed by the student or by the director. The teacher will advise the student and will follow all the scientific process as well. Finally, the teacher must approve their presentation.
The length of TFM (without references or appendix) will be between 15-25 pages A4 and must have a structure of scientific paper with the following subsets:
First page showing the title, the author, and the teacher. An abstract with no more than 250 words, and the key words.
Introduction with reviewing the state of the art and showing the sense of the research and its justification.
Matherial and methods.
When Results are given a section of Discussion and the Conclusions must be included.
References following Vancouver recommendations.
Tables and figures must have a title and footnote whenever necessary.
The TFM can be orally presented in spanish, valenciá/catalá or english. If the work has been already published as a paper, it will be considered as a TFM but it must defended in front of the examining board. The TFM can be only presented by one student.
