Practical exam (50%) + Portfolio (40%) + tutor evaluation (10%).
System and criteria of evaluation of the subject
Rotation period evaluation: The evaluation of the period of practices supervised in Pediatrics will be carried out in the following way:
- Assistance is mandatory. The justification for any absence must be included in the portfolio.
- The evaluation of the clinical practices tutor will represent 10% of the total score and will be done according to previously established criteria.
The review and qualification of the portfolio by the professor responsible for the course will represent 40% of the total score. This evaluation will be carried out based on the grade issued by the person in charge of the pediatric rotation course in each hospital.
The rest (50%) of the final grade will correspond to an exam. The practical exam will be carried out jointly with the rest of the clinical rotations in date and manner indicated by the Dean Department.
The exam of the pediatric rotation will consist of the number of questions that are indicated, they will be questions of multiple choice of content eminently related to clinical practice.
ASSESSMENT OF THE PORTFOLIO
The notebook of the subjects must be delivered completed on the last day of the rotation, in the final Seminar (Prof E Cortés) who will give them a signed receipt. The student must keep the received paper.

It is crucial that the student makes an effort to evaluate and communicate the positive and negative aspects during the rotation in pediatrics, with the idea to improve in the following years.
EVALUACION DEL PORTAFOLIO
Items are considered:
The formal aspects of the portfolio, the attendance record, the permanence in a day of duty, the hospital activity record and sessions attended.
In addition, the level of completion of the clinical records and discharge reports and their comments on the reports will be assessed.
In relation to the presentation of a clinical case, the formal aspects and the quality of the presentation, the scientific level of the presentation and the bibliography provided will be taken into account for its score. Likewise, the student's comments about the presentations of their classmates will be taken into consideration.
Another part that contributes to the final note of the portfolio is the general bibliography that has been referenced.
