For the evaluation of the subject it will be considered that it is formed by two independent content modules (MAJOR SYSTEMS AND EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY), with equal weight to establish the final grade of the subject.
1) ORDINARY CALL (‘February’):
In this call, the student may choose one of the following two evaluation systems:
· EVALUATION BY PARTIAL EXAMS (Option A):
i. In this modality, the Major Systems module will be evaluated through a single partial exam, which will which will take place once the theoretical and practical lectures are finished.
ii. In the same way, the Exercise Physiology module will be evaluated by means of a single partial exam, which will take place once the theoretical and practical lectures are finished.
iii. In this evaluation modality, the grade in the subject will be the average of the final grade of both modules. To pass the subject it will be necessary to obtain a final grade in the subject of 5.0 or higher, and it is not essential to approve the two modules separately to pass the subject. None of the qualifications ‘are saved’ for extraordinary calls (‘September’, ‘December’).
· EVALUATION THROUGH FINAL EXAM (Option B):
i. In this evaluation modality, the qualification will be the one obtained in a single exam with 50% of questions from the Major Systems module and the remaining 50% from the Exercise Physiology module. To pass the course, a grade of 5.0 or higher must be obtained.
ii. Those students that initially chose the Option A evaluation system, and fail to pass the subject, may choose also this option to either, recover one of the modules or, where appropriate, attempt to pass the subject through the final exam. By applying to this exam, they renounce the previous qualification that they had already obtained in the exam / partial exams of the corresponding module (s).
2) B) EXTRAORDINARY CALLS (SEPTEMBER, DECEMBER):
Students may choose to pass the subject in these calls only by passing a final exam (Option B), with similar characteristics to the one described above. The qualifications obtained in other calls will not be taken into account.
