The subject matter of the exam is the collection in the syllabus that appears in the program and that was explained during the academic course. This documentation is available to students on the web of the subject.
The grade of the subject is obtained as the weighted average of the marks obtained in the exam (70%) and in the practices (30%).
a) Test: It will consist of a test type of 20 to 30 questions with four possible solutions to choose one, as well as another section of 5 to 10 questions of true or false. The maximum score of the test will be 3 points. Every three incorrect answers will subtract the score from a correct answer.
b) In the correction of the problems will be taken into account the process followed in the resolution of the same and the numerical results as well as the correct use of units. The reasoned justification for the decisions adopted will be assessed. Each problem properly raised and developed with the correct solution will be rated with a maximum of 4 points.
c) The laboratory practices report will have a maximum value of 0.5 points where the approach, development and calculations will be assessed as well as the correct results.
d) The work of the CYPE practices will have a maximum value of 2.5 points. In this work, the greater information provided in the plans for a hypothetical construction of the structure to be calculated will be assessed, in addition to the theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject and the CYPE program.
The 4 parts have to be passed in order to pass the subject, although the total count of the scores is greater than 5 points.
The grade of each of the approved parts will be kept until the December session of that same course.
Consequence of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19, and given the need to adapt the Spanish university system to non-attendance, the development of teaching activity corresponding to the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year will be subject to the following changes in the teaching guide that are specified as an addendum to the previously approved for the subject.
Theory classes and seminars: The face-to-face classes are replaced by videoconferences through the Google meet tool from the virtual campus (universite) at the same time that the face-to-face should be.
These videoconferences are being recorded and made available to students.
2 CYPECAD seminars recorded in the previous year have been posted on the subject website.
Tutorials: They are carried out through email, the Google meet tool and the subject's doubts forum within the Moodle environment.
System and evaluation criteria of the subject:
The final grade will consist of four parts:
- Laboratory practice report (10%).
- Practical exercise task (30%)
These deliveries will be made through email or the UMH Virtual Campus platform and the delivery time will be June 18, 2020.
- On-line TEST exam that will be carried out through the Moodle virtual campus platform (30%).
- Examination of problems that will be carried out in a Google Meet Grid View session (30%)
These exams will be held on June 18, the first being from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and the second from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The examination of problems will be sent a few minutes before via email. The delivery by the student will be made by photographing it and sending it via email.
It should be remembered that, at different times during the duration of the problem test, the teacher may request a randomly chosen student to show his test.
[This brief addendum fulfills a double function:
First.- Specify in each subject the general criteria approved for the entire University regarding the adaptation of teaching to the non-presential format for this second semester: changes introduced in the teaching methodology and the evaluation system applicable in this exceptional period (from agreement with the Reflections of the Ministry of Universities, of April 4, 2020, on general criteria for the adaptation of the Spanish university system to the Covid-19 pandemic, during the 2019-2020 academic year, as well as the REACU Agreement of 3 of April 2020, in view of the exceptional situation caused by COVID-19)
Second.- It makes public and official the change in the evaluation procedure and the criteria that condition it, guaranteeing the procedure for monitoring the qualifications by the internal quality guarantee systems and by the Evaluation Agencies]
