The importance of the blocks that treat the RESPIRATORY, CARDIOVASCULAR and LYMPHATIC, DIGESTIVE and URINARY systems is obvious. On the one hand, the interrelation between the different systems is of such a magnitude that they are incomprehensible studying some without previously understanding the others. On the other hand, these are the main systems that are responsible for the absorption, transport, metabolism and elimination of drugs; Without forgetting the pharmacological modulation to which they are subject and the side effects that the drugs exert on them. The above mentioned, together with the fact that the contents of these blocks are presented for the first time in the degree, justifies the relative importance given to them in the program proposed here.
The anatomical knowledge of these systems constitutes a fundamental basis for the understanding of its physiology, its functional alterations and its pharmacological treatment, that are approached in different subjects throughout the studies of Pharmacy.
