### Description

Basic concepts in Probability: experiments, random variables, sample space, events, operations with events, probability, conditioned probability, marginal probability, Total Probability Theorem, Bayes's theorem and independence of events. Notable distributions.

### Objectives

Being able to identify randomness and probability in real problems.

Able to apply the basic results on probabilistci dependence and independence, to calculate probabilities in real problems.

To identify the basic distributions presented in real problems and to make probabilistic assessments to resolve questions of interest.
