Throughout the semester two partial exams should be done. The final exam will consist on two parts: Theoretical and practical part (65%). Students who have passed the two partial exams only need doing the exam of the third part of the course. Practical part (30%): The examination will be done in the computer lab. This exam is mandatory for all students. Evaluation of tutorial-seminars (5%). The score of the theoretical and practical part will be as follows: The score of students who have passed the two partial exams will be the weighted average, where the score of the second exam is twice the score of the other two Students who have completed one of the partial exams will receive the average mark with the scores of the exams of the remaining parts of the subject. All exams may be multiple choice questions (with four alternatives, one of which is correct and the other wrong. The questions answered correctly will add a point and the questions answered incorrectly will substract 1/3 points. Questions not answered do not count for qualification), an exam to solve problems or theorical questions or a mix of all of them. To pass the course, students have to overcome each of the parts (obtain at least 5 points). The scores of all the exams positively passed, including the partial exams, are kept until the December exam of the following year. Extraordinary calls of September and December will follow the same rules as ordinary calls.
