Product Design is an elective subject with 6 credits, which according to the assignation of European credits at the UMH is equivalent to 150 hours. It is for one semester, and is given in the second semester of the fourth year of the course.
The subject aims to familiarize and encourage a command of the knowledge gained which will enable students to develop products/services in a competitive environment. The program follows a course which starts from market information and ends with the launching of a product/service. During the course of this subject the different design and development phases of a new product/service are identified and key practices are provided which favor innovation in processes and pathways into the market.
