Two parts: 1-Resolution of 5 brief exercises on subjects treated in Unit 1, which must be carried out for 24 hours. The exercises will appear on the subject's Blog (Evaluation tab online). (60% of the mark). 2-Critical reading of two scientific articles (unit 2) One of randomized clinical trial and another of systematic review and completion of the template described in the student's work of Unit 2. This activity has to be done by your academic tutor and must be the one who will assess your work. (40% of the mark). Minimum criteria for approving the subject: to carry out the critical reading of the two scientific articles (unit 2) and to reach 50% of the maximum test score of the 5 brief exercises based on the material of Unit 1 unit work 2. The student must make a critical reading of two scientific articles that will be provided according to the area of knowledge of each one and to do so should apply the reading and learned in the material provided in Unit 1. After reading the articles you must write in one of the two Word format templates the following three parts of your work: 1. Describe a realistic clinical scenario related to the article, and formulate 2 questions about that scenario: a question of Effectiveness of the intervention and a question of applicability to the described scenario. 2. Apply and complete one of the templates of CASPe (critical Appraisal Skills Programme or program of abilities in critical reading) according to the type of study to two publications that are assigned to them: a. Systematic review template. 10 Questions to help you understand a systematic review. B. Clinical trial template. 11 Questions to make sense of a clinical trial. Question Blocks A and B of each template refer to the article, Block C refers to the applicability of the study results to the clinical scenario. In a free text section you can discuss aspects not collected in the CASPe grids, for example: aspects of validity that require comment, how could you improve the study?, what types of studies would you like to have to answer the questions of the Stage? ETC. 3. The student must complete the checklist or Cheklist prism for the article of systematic review or meta-analysis and the checklist or cheklist CONSORT for the clinical trial article, during the student's work must be in contact with his Tutor to be provided and this tutor who must solve the doubts that arise in the subject.
